  • Beschrijving: A provincial simpleton, Paschalis, who is a guest at the Athenian home of his cousin Manolis, sells to a junk dealer an old armchair in which, however, their grandmother had hidden half a million drachmas that she had once won in the lottery. As soon as they realize it, the hunt begins for the valuable armchair. They dash to the most unbelievable places, to a lodging house, to a local strongman, and from a production studio to an antique gallery. At the lodging house, where they stay for a few days, Manolis meets and falls in love with Flora, whom her brother, however, wants to marry to a wholesale meat vendor.
